Pia’s Poem by Thomas Dambo: Pretty pretty please, let’s keep the peace beneath the trees. Hold you in my hand I will remind you with a squeeze. Quiet little people cause your criers make me tired. Pia likes to play with people, people they keep quiet.

The Nordic Trolls spring from the imagination of Danish environmental artist, Thomas Dambo. He channels his nordic heritage and the mythical folklore of his youth, to create large-scale whimsical Trolls, with a modern twist. He has been making his signature large-scale trolls fashioned from recycled wood for the past 10 years. Currently there are 100 of his Trolls sited in Europe, Asia, Australia and the US. The Northwest Way of the Bird King will be a first for Thomas — to create six distinctive Trolls with a unique story centered around protecting the environmental treasures of the NW, sited in a variety of publicly accessible locations.
